Ridgeline Headlight Buying Guide (2018–2026)
The facelift split nobody remembers
The 2nd-generation Ridgeline has run since 2017, but the 2021 facelift brought a new hood, grille, and headlight design. Sellers and buyers routinely mix up the two — this collection is split cleanly: 2018–2020 (pre-facelift) and 2021–2026 (facelift). They do not interchange.
| Year Range | Design | Headlight Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 2018–2020 | Pre-facelift (2nd gen) | Halogen projector on most trims; LED DRL on upper trims |
| 2021–2026 | Facelift (2nd gen) | LED headlights standard; new front-end design |
The unibody truck’s different life
Ridgeline owners are not rock-crawling — they are suburban commuters, weekend DIYers, and long-distance road-trippers. Their headlights die the ordinary deaths: lens hazing from highway miles, bumper taps in parking lots, and stone chips. Replacement is maintenance, not a build — which is exactly why a correctly-split, no-drama collection page wins these searches.
Halogen vs. LED
Pre-facelift trucks used halogen projectors; the 2021 facelift standardized LED headlights. Upgrading a 2018–2020 truck means a complete LED assembly for the pre-facelift fitment — never LED bulbs in the halogen projector.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will 2019 Ridgeline headlights fit my 2022?
No. The 2021 facelift changed the front end completely. 2017–2020 headlights do not fit 2021+ trucks.
Can I upgrade my pre-facelift halogen headlights to LED?
Yes, with complete LED assemblies built for the 2018–2020 fitment. Do not install LED bulbs into the factory halogen projector.
